Episode 3: Sometimes you need a curve ball, to make you think outside the box | Gerard Scarpaci

Gerard Scarpaci is one of the co-founders of Hairbrained; a social network with an online community, education and store for the #crafthairdresser to shop tools. You can find Hairbrained on social media and in person at Teach In @ISSE in Long Beach and the Hairbrained Video Award show in New York City. Gerard is a barber and cosmetologist. He’s been behind the chair, a salon owner and an educator/teacher inside the classroom as well as onstage and one on one.

In this episode Gerard talks meditation, mindfulness and what he’s looking forward to for 2023. He shares his perspective on the conversation that has arisen again earlier this year; on social media around hairdressers still using the gender binary on their service menu pricing and his time withstanding tip for all hairdressers.
